WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Food and Drug Administration has put forward a suggestion to move the deadline for its Food Traceability Rule from January 20, 2026, to July 20, 2028, a full 30-month extension. This proposed change is a direct response to concerns from businesses across the food supply chain that they need more time to prepare and implement the requirements.
