WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration is proposing a rule change to address a fire hazard on several models of Bombardier's Challenger aircraft. The agency's proposal would require operators of CL-600 jets to update their maintenance programs to prevent a potential fire in the auxiliary power unit (APU) bay.
