LATHAM, New York, Aug. 6 -- A coalition of New York's top education organizations has expressed disappointment in the recent Supreme Court decision in Mahmoud v. Taylor, which supported parents' rights to opt their children out of reading school-approved books with LGBTQ+ characters on religious grounds.
