WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 (TNSLrpt) -- A document titled 'Flood of July 2023 in Vermont,' prepared by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in cooperation with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), provides a study of the July 2023 flood. The report, authored by Travis L. Smith, Scott A. Olson, James M. LeNoir, Rena D. Kalmon, and Elizabeth A. Ahearn, is designated as Scientific Investigations Report 2025-5016, Version 1.1, and was issued in May 2025.
