WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 (TNSLrpt) -- A new report from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) introduces an innovative algorithm for mapping sparse, univariate earth science data that is grouped by region. The report, "Bayesian Mapping of Regionally Grouped, Sparse, Univariate Earth Science Data," is a Techniques and Methods publication (7-C29) authored by Karl J. Ellefsen, Bronwen Wang, and Margaret A. Goldman.
