WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 (TNSFR) -- Southern Bancorp, located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, has filed a notice with the Federal Reserve System to retain voting shares of Arkansas Skunkworks LLC, a Little Rock-based company. The move would allow Southern Bancorp to engage in data processing activities, a business segment that is permissible for bank holding companies under established regulations.
