Interior Rescinds Outdated Sulphur Regulations

WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 (TNSFR) -- The Department of the Interior Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement is moving forward with a direct final rule to eliminate a majority of its regulations governing sulphur operations in the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS). This action, which is part of a larger initiative to remove rules that impede energy development, streamlines requirements by applying other existing departmental regulations to sulphur operations instead.
