WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 (TNSFR) -- The Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has updated its rules for solar and wind energy projects on public lands, aligning with the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB) enacted on July 4, 2025. This change revises the formulas used to calculate acreage rent and capacity fees for renewable energy facilities, with the final rule effective as of August 1, 2025.
