WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 (TNSFR) -- The Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has updated its rules to align with the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" (OBBB), which was enacted on July 4. The change, which took effect on August 1, adds statutory definitions for the terms "eligible" and "available" to clarify which lands can be leased for oil and gas development.
