WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 (TNSFR) -- The Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has revised its regulations to restrict the stipulations and mitigation measures that can be attached to oil and gas leases. The update, a direct result of the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" (OBBB) enacted on July 4, limits these requirements to only those already included in an approved resource management plan (RMP). The rule takes effect on September 30.
