WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 (TNSFR) -- Erie Boulevard Hydropower LP has filed an application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission requesting a temporary variance from reservoir elevation rules for its Hudson River Project. The company is seeking permission to continue operating the Spier Falls impoundment at a lowered level after a fire caused severe damage to the powerhouse, taking both generating units offline. The project is located in Warren and Saratoga counties, New York.
