University of Tennessee, University of Kansas to Return Ancestral Remains to Native American Tribes

WASHINGTON, July 29 (TNSFR) -- The University of Tennessee Knoxville campus Department of Anthropology and the University of Kansas have completed inventories of ancestral human remains and associated funerary objects and are preparing for their repatriation to Native American tribes. These actions align with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
