WASHINGTON, July 25 -- Unit 1 at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Pennsylvania, underwent a manual reactor scram July 22, 2025, following a loss of main transformer cooling. The reactor was operating at 96% power in Mode 1 at the time of the shutdown.
