WASHINGTON, July 23 (TNSFR) -- Mercedes-Benz USA LLC, Sandy Springs, Georgia, has petitioned the U.S. Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration regarding a noncompliance issue in some of its 2019-2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Freightliner Sprinter vehicles. The company sought a determination that the noncompliance is inconsequential to motor vehicle safety.
