WASHINGTON, July 19 -- Louisiana Energy Services (Urenco USA), a uranium enrichment facility, reported an "unanalyzed condition" on July 11, 2025. The incident (Event Number 57808) involved the temporary storage of uranium "1S" bottles on carts in the cylinder receipt and dispatch building (CRDB), a configuration not covered by existing safety analyses.
