N.Y. PSC: State Suspends Proposed Utility Rate Increases for N.Y. State Electric & Gas, Rochester Gas & Electric

WASHINGTON, July 19 -- The New York State Public Service Commission, Albany, has suspended proposed rate hikes submitted by New York State Electric & Gas Corp., Binghamton, and Rochester Gas and Electric Corp., New York. An order issued July 18, 2025, halts the rate changes that were set to take effect on July 30 and launches proceedings to review the requests.
