Federal Reserve Gov. Waller Advocates for Immediate Rate Cut

WASHINGTON, July 17 -- Christopher J. Waller, a governor of the Federal Reserve Board, delivered a speech at the Money Marketeers of New York University. Waller argued that the Federal Open Market Committee should reduce the policy rate by 25 basis points at its next meeting, citing three main reasons.
