WASHINGTON, July 17 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Food and Drug Administration has issued a rule (Docket No. FDA-2025-N-1225) entitled "Proposal To Revoke 18 Standards of Identity for Dairy Products." This action aims to remove eighteen existing standards for dairy items as the agency believes they are no longer needed to promote honesty and fair dealing for consumers. This action would also lessen unnecessary regulatory requirements.
