DES MOINES, Iowa, July 15 -- The Iowa Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:

The spring run shooting range will be closed July 21, to allow for a $400,000 renovation and upgrade project that, when finished, will feature covered shooting structures, concrete walkways, steel baffles, and more.
