NRC Extends Operations for Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Lake County, Ohio

WASHINGTON, July 13 (TNSFR) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has announced the issuance of a renewed operating license to Vistra Operations Co. LLC, Dallas, Texas. This action authorizes the continued operation of Perry Nuclear Power Plant Unit 1, located in Lake County, Ohio. This decision allows the plant to continue generating electricity at power levels up to 3,758 megawatts thermal adhering to its renewed operating license and technical specifications.
