WASHINGTON, July 10 (TNSFR) -- The Oregon Historical Society has completed an inventory of human remains, establishing cultural affiliation with the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation, Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation of Oregon and the Nez Perce Tribe. This action, in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, prepares for the return of these ancestral items.
