Bryn Mawr College Returns Objects to Native Village of Nikolski

WASHINGTON, July 10 (TNSFR) -- Bryn Mawr College has completed an inventory of associated funerary objects and has determined a cultural affiliation with the Native Village of Nikolski. This action is in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.

Five associated funerary objects identified as burial mat fragments have been reasonably identified. These items were removed from either Kagamil Island or Ship Rock Island in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. . . .
