WASHINGTON, June 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has issued a proposed rule entitled "Import Regulations for Horses; Pre-Export Examination." This action proposes to remove a specific requirement for horse imports into the U.S.

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is proposing to eliminate the requirement that horses offered for importation must be accompanied by documentation of a pre-export examination . . .
