WASHINGTON, June 27 -- The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases expressed grave concern regarding the flawed process observed during the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices meeting held June 25-26, 2025, in Bethesda, Maryland. Robert H. Hopkins Jr., medical director for the Foundation, stated that the deviation from established evidence-based procedures undermines transparency and trust, potentially legitimizing misinformation and harming public health.
