Environmental Protection Agency Issues Proposed Rule on Renewable Fuel Standard Program Standards

WASHINGTON, June 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a proposed rule (40 CFR Parts 80 and 1090; Docket No. EPA-HQ-OAR-2024-0505) entitled "Renewable Fuel Standard Program: Standards for 2026 and 2027, Partial Waiver of 2025 Cellulosic Biofuel Volume Requirement, and Other Changes." The agency is required to determine applicable volume requirements for the Renewable Fuel Standard for future years under the Clean Air Act.
