WASHINGTON, June 17 -- Sen. Tim Scott, R-South Carolina, chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, released the following opening statement from a June 12, 2025, confirmation hearing.
The nominees are Ben DeMarzo and Craig Trainor to be assistant secretaries of Housing and Urban Development, Jovan Jovanovic to be chairman of the Ex-Im Bank, Francis Brooke to be assistant secretary of the Treasury, and David Peters to be assistant secretary of Commerce.
