Maine PUC Approves Over $6 Million for School & Library Internet Program

WASHINGTON, June 12 -- The Maine Public Utilities Commission has approved Networkmaine's annual plan for the Maine Schools and Libraries Network Program, allocating up to $6,060,054 from the Maine Telecommunications Education Access Fund for the fiscal year running from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. This approval comes via an order issued on June 11, 2025, titled "Networkmaine Annual Proposal of Dept. of Education and the Maine State Library (FY 2025-2026)".
