WASHINGTON, June 9 (TNSFRinfo) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration has issued a 60-day notice inviting public comment on its intention to extend an existing information collection. This initiative, known as the "Airspace Waiver Program," allows the agency to conduct security threat assessments for individuals operating manned and unmanned aircraft in restricted airspace under waivers or flight authorizations.
