Federal Agencies Seek Input on Prescription Drug Pricing Transparency

WASHINGTON, June 5 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Treasury Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Department of Labor Employee Benefits Security Administration and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services have jointly issued a proposed rule seeking public input on the machine-readable file requirement for prescription drug costs.

This initiative is a critical component of the broader Transparency in Coverage Final Rule, which aims to shed light on healthcare pricing.
