WASHINGTON, June 5 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has issued a final rule addressing a critical safety concern for the Boeing Co. model 787-8, 787-9 and 787-10 airplanes. This directive was prompted by reports indicating that seat track splice fittings might have been manufactured with an incorrect titanium alloy material.
