WASHINGTON, May 30 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, a division of the U.S. Department of Transportation, is proposing to update its regulations by removing outdated references to "water carriers."

This initiative aims to streamline and modernize several sections of the Code of Federal Regulations, including parts 365, 370, 379, 386, and 390.
