WASHINGTON, May 30 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has finalized a rule to repeal specific routing regulations for for-hire motor carriers that concern servicing municipalities and unincorporated communities.
This final rule, effective May 30, 2025, eliminates regulations deemed unlawful because they exceed the agency's current statutory authority.
