WASHINGTON, May 29 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission has launched a rigorous inquiry into Farmers Rural Electric Cooperative Corp.'s, Munfordville, Kentucky, proposed general adjustment of rates, demanding detailed justifications for various charges and financial practices. In its "Second Request for Information" issued on May 28, 2025, the PSC is pressing Farmers Electric Cooperative Corp. for answers on everything from net metering tariffs to executive compensation.
