WASHINGTON, May 28 (TNSLrpt) -- The Center for American Progress (CAP) issued a report on May 12, 2025, titled "A 21st Century Privacy Act: Ending the Exploitation of Unlawfully Obtained Government Data," argues for a radical overhaul of federal privacy laws to address the unchecked use of Americans' personal data by government agencies and private entities.
