WASHINGTON, May 24 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a final rule expanding eligibility for the World Trade Center Health Program.

Effective May 27, 2025, this update aligns with recent statutory changes to include more responders from the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks at the Pentagon and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
