ITC Launches Probe Into Medical Device Patent Infringement

WASHINGTON, May 23 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has initiated an investigation into certain balloon dilation devices, systems, and components thereof, following a complaint alleging patent infringement.

The complaint was filed by Entellus Medical, Inc. of Plymouth, Minnesota, alongside Stryker Corporation and Stryker Sales, LLC, both based in Portage, Michigan. They claim violations of section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930.
