WASHINGTON, May 22 (TNSFRinfo) -- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is inviting public comment on the renewal of an existing information collection, known as the NRC Online Form, "Request for Alternative." This form is utilized by holders of, and certain applicants for, nuclear power plant construction permits and operating licenses.

It allows them to propose and receive authorization for alternatives to specific requirements outlined in 10 CFR 50.55a paragraphs . . .
