WASHINGTON, May 21 -- The U.S. State Department, through Secretary Marco Rubio, has sanctioned four Cuban officials for gross human rights violations. Prosecutor Yanaisa Matos Legra and Judges Gladys Maria Padron Canals, Maria Elena Fornari Conde, and Juan Sosa Orama are being designated for their role in the arbitrary detention and sham trials of individuals like Luis Robles Elizastigui, Jose Daniel Ferrer, and Felix Navarro.
