Ky. PSC: Duke Energy Kentucky Ordered to Fund Independent Consultant for Environmental Project Review

FRANKFORT, Kentucky, May 21 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has directed Duke Energy Kentucky, Inc. to remit payment to an independent consulting firm, Vantage Energy Consulting, LLC, for services rendered in reviewing the utility's proposed environmental upgrade at its East Bend Generating Station. The order, issued on May 20, 2025, is part of the ongoing regulatory process for Duke Kentucky's application to convert its pollution control system.
