N.Y. PSC Upholds Decision Against Central Hudson in Backbilling Dispute

ALBANY, New York, May 21 -- The New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) has denied a petition for rehearing filed by Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation, affirming an earlier ruling in favor of a residential customer who was backbilled for extended periods of service. The decision, issued and effective May 20, 2025, solidifies the customer's right to a credit adjustment and refund.
