ERS: U.S. Sugar Supply Up in April 2025; Mexico's Sugar Balance Unchanged Amid Production and Trade Dynamics

WASHINGTON, May 20 (TNSLrpt) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Economic Research Service (ERS) released its "Sugar and Sweeteners Outlook: April 2025" (SSS-M-440) report today, announcing an increase in the U.S. 2024/25 sugar supply. Despite a slight decrease in domestic production, this increase is driven by higher high-tier imports and beginning stocks. Mexico's 2024/25 sugar balance remains unchanged.
