Homeland Security Department Implements New Tariff Policy

WASHINGTON, May 20 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection (CBP), an agency of the Department of Homeland Security, has announced new measures to eliminate the "stacking" of certain overlapping tariffs on imported articles.

This action follows President's Executive Order 14289, "Addressing Certain Tariffs on Imported Articles," which aims to streamline the complex system of duties imposed to protect national security . . .
