WASHINGTON, May 17 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed a rule to grant the State of Arizona primary enforcement authority for all six classes of underground injection wells under the federal Safe Drinking Water Act. If finalized, this action would allow the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality to implement the state's Underground Injection Control (UIC) program and assume regulatory control over Class I through Class VI injection wells within its borders, . . .
