WASHINGTON, May 17 (TNSFR) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission officials have issued the final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) supporting the subsequent license renewal for the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station, Unit 1, located in Fairfield County, South Carolina.

Operated by Dominion Energy South Carolina, Inc., the facility's Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-12 is now under consideration for an additional 20-year extension.
