NCUC Orders Duke Energy Carolinas to Issue Revised Public Notice for Fuel Charge Adjustment

RALEIGH, North Carolina, May 16 -- The North Carolina Utilities Commission (NCUC) has ordered Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC (DEC) to publish a revised public notice regarding its application for a fuel charge adjustment. The order, issued on May 15, 2025, requires DEC to inform its customers about changes to the rates originally proposed in its February 2025 filing.
