WASHINGTON, May 16 (TNSFRinfo) -- The U.S. Department of the Treasury Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking public input on the extension of an existing information collection process related to modifications of commercial mortgage loans held by real estate mortgage investment conduits (REMICs).
As part of its ongoing efforts to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, the agency is inviting comments on the requirements outlined in final regulations under section 1.860G-2.
