WASHINGTON, May 16 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Energy has issued a direct final rule rescinding specific regulatory provisions related to nondiscrimination on the basis of sex in education programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance.
Published in the Federal Register on May 16, 2025, this rule eliminates paragraphs (b) through (d) of 10 CFR 1042.110, which include provisions permitting voluntary affirmative action, as well as self-evaluation and recordkeeping . . .
