WASHINGTON, May 16 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Energy has issued a direct final rule rescinding part 1000 of title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, which outlined the transfer of certain proceedings and functions from predecessor federal agencies to the Department of Energy and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) following the Department of Energy Organization Act of 1977.
