WASHINGTON, May 16 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Energy Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy has proposed a rule that would rescind the existing federal energy efficiency standards for battery chargers, effectively removing these devices from the scope of the Energy Conservation Program for Consumer Products.
