DOE Proposes Rescinding Design Requirements for Conventional Ovens

WASHINGTON, May 16 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Energy Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy has issued a proposed rule to rescind the amended design requirements for conventional ovens, which would revert these standards to those established by Congress in the National Appliance Energy Conservation Act of 1987.
